Pulling a door handle off a Disco sport

I would have thought impossible but today I gave a lift to a lady who ended up with the rear door handle in her hand (not in a good way).

It's a 2015 just bought from a main dealer so i hope it is covered under warranty without any argument.

Anybody experienced anything similar?

As it had it’s 3rd birthday yet if not, it’s defo covered I would think.

I'd say you've been unlucky with the door handle - I hope so as MrsC has just ordered a number Disco Sport SE Tech & more importantly as her new co. car, she'll have it 3 yrs which will probably see it do about 75k over the period.

I did the same on an Iveco minibus.

It was 6 weeks old

Take it back and they will fix it.
