is the petrol model worth about £100 more than the deisel?
I would say so.

My 18/18 Disco Sport is already on its second DPF and it now sits on the drive unless I'm certain it will get warm and/or will be going on a long run. In hindsight I'd have spent the extra money on a petrol and not had the DPF risk hanging over my head for another two winters.

This Evoque deal looks great - 150bhp Disco Sport HSE is costing us £378 per month on a 3+35 profile.

I'm with you, you'd think it would have been better with mild hybrid & modern auto box

went for the bog standard D150 Rdynamic deal in Fuji White.

Didn't bother with any options... so that means no android auto or built in Nav. Not going to lose too much sleep over it though.

I am thinking of cancelling my order now. Sorry this is out of topic as mine is a PCP, anyone had experience cancelling their PCP order in the past? will I lose my deposit? Thanks.

Don’t know about PCP but was it anywhere near the figure the PCH was being quoted at

Mine is a different spec and mileage, so different than the PCH. It was a good deal in June but I am having change of mind.

Am I really missing out a lot if it is a 21% total for good spec and 10k miles? Having a cold feet and dilemma either to keep or cancel the order still.

If it’s over 2 years & 10K PA then 21% is a very good deal. I got mine at 23% and I thought that was best you could get.
Post up your spec and payments

As for MPG Wifey has a D180 First Edition - 36mpg around town and over 48mpg on a run. Car went in for some work and they gave us a P250 - 18mpg and can't do better. These cars are made to be Diesel IMHO and petrols are a waste of time as you will be at the bloody pump all the time!

We got one of the first cars on PCP - £5k down and £500 a month via Paragon Finance who were cheaper than JLR finance. Worth it as the car is loaded to the hilt including HUD!

It is the R Dynamic SE with 10k miles for 24 month. It is a deal through work, where for an R Dynamic S, is sub 20% iirc but I somehow struggled to accept moving from an HSE spec (my current car) to an S.

Thanks for sharing the D180 fuel consumption real world data. I had the D180 SE Evoque for a day test drive and coming from a P250 engine (for 1 year), it seems much better on fuel efficiency. P250 is very good and smooth but not very wallet friendly, at least from my experience.

Ihad an SVR that was nearly as good as a P250 around town in terms of MPG! Strange engine in the P250 IMHO.

Not a thing, I’ve paid them the £199 fee but not had anything in return, they did say January 2020 was ok for me but unfortunately nothing in writing

I ordered a D150 S at the end of June and have been advised its arriving 6th September, was originally quoted October.
