The Evoque lease deal.
Discussion
Ive been seriously considering a new Evoque, to replace our current 2015 one.
Ours is in for service so have managed to have a new 180 S for an extended drive, and I'm really not convinced...
Good points are that the interior tech is impressive and clever, ride is improved - nicely controlled and smooth.
Bad points are that the mpg doesn't seem any different - mid 30's - and (in S spec) it just looks very bland and ordinary.
I'm currently more interested in a GLC coupe.

In dealers now, getting delivered on Monday
what you get & can you post some pics?Evoque 150S, 1+35 @ £340pm, 8k miles, via Wessex Leasing. Ordered back in June.
Not fantastic in terms of overall value but best priced S model. Happy to pay uplift over base as the jump in equipment is quite a bit (leather, 19" wheels, nav, WiFi).
Ordered a completely basement spec d150 manual with smartphone pack for the Mrs at the end of July.
An unbelievable price although I get that it is unusual in preferring manual/cloth seats/small wheels.
V4b claim mid October to the dealer still but won’t give me a tracking number nor will they confirm in anymore detail until it’s with the dealer.
I find this strange given that Rivervale have always been very open with me on build and delivery. And I’ve paid a fee up front.
Anyway, they assure me (in writing) we have the car secured.

The car looks superb. Looking forward to getting ours (wife's) a little later this year. We've got the same engine/gearbox so would be interested to hear your thoughts on it when you've done a bit of driving. Its the bottom of the pile but a 2 litre diesel usually does a decent job in this type of vehicle.

As long as they've sorted the DPF issues out from the previous model you should be fine.car looks lovely sox boy,
had this from leasing options the other day
We do not yet have the updated from Land Rover, as per the previous email we are not expecting this from them until at least October. Your order has been placed with the supplier, the next stage in the process is for Land Rover to confirm when the car will be built. This is known as "build week allocation" - as soon as we've got this, we will be able to provide a further update to you.
As I am sure you can appreciate, Land Rover are dealing with an unprecedented number of vehicle orders following this campaign. Please be assured that we are actively chasing our supplier for updates on all orders placed during this time and we will communicate all information as and when received by them.

Car looks great.
^^^ this is what concerns me (previous poster) I think I may have been led to believe mid-Oct equals into dealership when in fact it means dealership will let them have a build week.
Is yours with Leasys?
yeah mines with leasing opts, i'm not too worried about the build week to be honest. 1 reason i went for it was my current lease is up in jan and all going well the evoque will be ready in december so just have to delay it a month which they said i can do. ^^^ this is what concerns me (previous poster) I think I may have been led to believe mid-Oct equals into dealership when in fact it means dealership will let them have a build week.
