Anyone managed to get this sorted?

An independent declined to look into it as, he reckoned it could be due to lots of different things. rolleyes

Dealer reckoned it was related to a goosed alternator ... but it wasn't ... as I knew. frown

Help. eek

Compressor. About £500 for a new LR one.

Cheers. Dealer reckoned compressor is fine ... but I'm pretty sure they just make stuff up. frown

Assuming pump/storage tank etc all ok, how old is your battery? They can be quite sensitive to a lack of electric juice which often manifests itself as spurious error messages.

To be honest, they are right. It can be lots of things, but the correct answer is to actually check those things rather than just telling you to Foxtrot Oscar.

Could be:
Compressor or individual components in the compressor (Dryer?)
A leak somewhere and this can lead to the compressor being overworked which leads to it burning out. Bit pointless replacing the compressor if you have a lead as it could go bag again because of the leak
Numerous height sensors and airline cross valves (One centrally and one at each axel I think)
Battery and Alternator (D3 and 4 are very sensitive to drops in voltage)
Damaged wiring can cause all sorts of issues (I speak from experience here)

I'm sure there are other things that I have forgotten. A leak would be my biggest fear if I'm honest.

If it's the same as the D3 a similar issue on mine was sorted by a £10 brake peddle switch.
Self diagnosed via info on the Disco3 site.
I started with the most inexpensive component and was super chuffed with myself!
