Discounts are on new cars. They were literally biting our hands off in September but I guess it will be the same in March 20 as well.

Don't know about staff discount Sorry!

Staff discount is huge I believe - I was told 20% by an ex LR salesman.

My man maths tells me that if I can get a manufacturer discount on the £125 to something like £110, then a 20pc ‘staff’ discount on top of this... it’s a no brainier.

Popped in today to have a look - stunning car, well specie - seats are ebony and tan which I wouldnt normally have thought about however they are growing on me - also moves me away from always going black..

Somebody is apparently calling me tomorrow.. will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Just to add that the impression I had was that the staff discount would be instead of whatever deal could normally be haggled. Good luck though, sounds like a lovely motor with the right discount!

Life’s too short to not go for a silly 4x4.

Yes it’s expensive, but it’s fast, rather cool, sounds amazing and will drink the Middle East dry in a year.

Do it. hehe

If I could pick up a 12 month old current gen model, I’d buy a couple!

If only.

The sort of discounts I am reading here do not reflect my experience. Seem laughable, actually. I think a dealer would have to be seriously, catastrophically low on selling their allocation to entertain such ideas. So don’t get your hopes up! I wish you luck, it would be a real coup to get such hot metal for a major discount, try your best!

As for the £125k asking price, it’s very hard to factory spec an RRS to such a high figure. Is there a mark up for “immediate delivery”? You should share the spec sheet and build date. You might get a much better deal on a factory order. And if it’s £125k and already registered then the asking price is ridiculous. And if it’s pre-registered make sure it’s a 2020 model year.

Finally, the SVR and the FFRR are nearly the same size... FFRR is 10 cm longer but same width (and a smidge taller, but that has not affect behind wheel). However, they are noticeably softer than an RRS and massively softer than an SVR!

My thoughts exactly, Totally unbelievable last time i checked there was at least a four month wait for your spec car.
Also for this sort of car they do retain their money incredibly well.

ilard i must say though if you tick all the options and carbon packs an SVR can reach the £125k figure !

I suggest you pop in to the RRS forums if you are serious on buying one...much more info there and from people in the know too.

I am unable to stick my invoice up here or I would have! 10% is pretty easy - try popping in to Hatfield, Slough or Park Royal and good luck smile

Car wow is only a starting point - when you start playing dealers against each other - that's when the fun starts smile

Update...

Spoke to the salesman.. went through the spec of the car and requested some costs to add in a tow bar, also asked about the Tata discount scheme.. and.... nothing..

He was going to email the information but didn’t.I've chased but heard nothing back - will probably chase again tomorrow however thought they would be more responsive. Doesn’t bode well if this is how they are in ‘sales mode’.

asked and nothing !
chased and nothing !?!

Blimey that's bad - for any business that's bad - especially when I would hazard a guess its their most expensive model going.
Ask another dealer?

smile No, I didn’t.

He emailed earlier to say that the RRS wasn’t in scope of the deal currently, didn’t even ask if I was interested - v odd sales approach. Business must be good, still considering it but less bothered about buying locally if that’s the service.

I hadn’t, I don’t think I’ve actually seen one in the flesh - the pics look good
