I believe privacy glass is an option on the standard car, but on the 5 seat LWB version, it's automatically added as standard with no option to remove it.
Ah okay, I was spec'ing the LWB 7 seater, where privacy glass is an option. Wonder why that is? On the privacy glass vs clear glass, I've had 3 FFRRs with privacy glass, none of which was spec'd by me, and I really fancy a change. I personally think it looks nicer without privacy glass, but that said, I do quite like the actual privacy that goes with it!
One point, I noticed that the LWB (again 7 seats) has electric window blinds in the rear - this is what clinched it for me as it still gives that option for privacy if you need it.
Coming back to this thread.
I've now seen a good handful on the roads and in person. Yes they look great, but so modern - espscially here in the countryside, where they look quite stark against the organic landscape.
I also see JLR have removed some key suspension equipment from the standard spec; and, belgravia green is a strange colour in the flesh.
On balance, I still feel comfortable with my decision to stick with my 5.0 s/c until it dies, and will jump for the full electric one when that happens.
Happy motoring for those which are starting to trickle through.

It's Tonga-ish, but there is a jade-y undertone I can't quite articulate - rather like the green oxide you used to find on old 2p's! I'd describe it as Asian-inspired.
Charente grey is another interesting colour, a lovely mushroom, though it looks like it's been laminated with thick clear coat - which I think is due to the lack of creases and angles on the panels.
Both extremely impressive under sunlight/showroom lights.
My favourite feature is the very gentle boat tail, the contrast with the paint is excellent.

Anyone know the current wait times if I ordered now. I'd like to take delivery Feb 2023 so don't know if I wait a while or prudent to get the order in now?
I though I'd seen on here somewhere that 2022 allocation already sold, probably exacerbated by the chip shortage (there is a note on their website when you do your build), given the delays on most manufacturers at the moment you'd best to talk to a dealer. To give an idea of delivery times. I placed an order in early November 21. Marshall Oxford called yesterday to say my car was being built in two weeks time, although it won't be available for delivery until May. I had not expected it until the autumn.
I ordered a fairly basic SE P400 and as such thought highly specced cars would take priority. However due to component shortages, of the 55 cars the dealer has been allocated this year, only 2 cars can currently go into build, mine being one of them!

Has anyone else been requested to sign a disclaimer about selling within 12 months?
I have a hybrid order in and been told it should be around June / July and was surprised to be requested this during a chat this week.
I was also requested to confirm that as soon as it arrives I shall take ownership and not wait until a new reg comes through ie if it is late July early August wait until September.
My order was originally for petrol but was swapped the day they announced the hybrid.
I had originally specced 23" wheels, but with changing to the hybrid that was the only spec I could not transfer.
The dealer reckoned it was due to the batteries as current model batteries were in the rear but new model they are in the floor under the seats.
I contacted tech services and apparently the 23" wheels vastly reduces the headline 69 mile full electric range, hence why they are not an option...I have to make do with the 22's.
First World problems huh?!

If anyone has a build slot for one and has decided against it and wants to move it on please feel free to DM me. Had one ordered but as linked to motor trade my order has been cancelled. Not looking to flip it, looking to keep for 18/24 months.
Only stipulation is that its black any engine.
