LRO Magazine shutting down?

Has anyone else heard about the possibility of LRO Magazine shutting down?
I saw an Instagram Story from Patrick Cruywagen (former LRM Editor) which read something along the lines of 'Very sad to hear that LRO Magazine is shutting down', and I've seen a few posts on FB, Instagram from other people saying similar.
LRO's Workshop Editor, Martin Domoney, is now Editor at rival magazine LRM. This month, Neil Watterson has stepped down as Editor of LRO, so I do wonder if something is going on?

Saw that question on another website a couple of days ago.
No other details though.
Can't remember the last time I even flicked through a copy of it in the supermarket. Little of interest - or within my price range!
Don't think they did themselves any favours when they dumped the old forum & just went with their full of ads for the magazine Facebook presence.

I much prefer LRM and my series was even featured in there back in October.
LRO is the original isnt it? Shame to see a mag leave the shelves, but as others have said, there is only so much the industry can support and given the financial climate, companies might not want to be advertising in three Land Rover mags.

Shame if true as I found them better than LRM for reading.
But the issue has been getting thinner and thinner recently for pages and content.
Only so often you can read about a generic 90 with a tdi, on a galvanised chassis, with an eBay snorkel, roof rack and seats from some other car before you get bored of it.
Tbh, even classic Land Rover was talking about the changing of the landy scene in general.

Just found this thread via google after seeing a FB post former staffer Dave Philllips. If it is closing down it'll be very sad for such a long running mag, and I did particularly like the technical articles and opinion columns from the likes of Messrs Galilee and Thurston.
However, as others have said, have we reached the saturation point on how many varieties you can have on the theme of a rebuilt Defender/ D1/2 with an extreme parts catalogue thrown at it? It's why I eventually stopped buying any of the Land Rover mags.

In the early 1990s, I’d never miss and issue.
I particularly enjoyed the features on “SYD” the at the time gaily new Range Rover that got used off road
