Risk free matched betting using bookie offers

Emailed by 4 different bookies today for offers on tonight's R.Madrid vs Man U match.
Couple of them are match your bet with a freebet and a 365 bet £50 before match and if you bet another £50 live during match they will refund on lose.
Basically I'm betting and laying on Madrid and losing pennies in order to get risk free bets to place on Man U as soon as the match starts.
This is the same method that allowed me to 'risk' £50 on Celtic vs Barca a while back when Celtic did me proud at 11.0
So a couple of quid lost if Man U lose or if it's a draw but around £300 odd to be made if they do it.
Also have a free fiver added to my Coral account for an in-play bet.
Mmmmmm in hindsight, I didn't think that through properly.Couple of them are match your bet with a freebet and a 365 bet £50 before match and if you bet another £50 live during match they will refund on lose.

My £50 and £25 qualifying bets I placed on Madrid and layed them on Betfair, giving me a couple of quid loss to gain the £50 and £25 freebets which I placed on Man U. In hindsight I should have placed the £50 on Madrid and the £25 on a draw and not layed anything, then everything would have been covered.
If Madrid had won I would have been up a couple of quid, if Man U had won I would have been up around £275 and as it turned out to be a draw I would have been up around £25.
Ah well, thanks to the Matched Betting I am only down £2 or so.

Dan, I have only done this a few times as what puts me off is having to ring up to get the refund. The people on the phone always claim that they have never heard of the promotion.Ring up????
I've only ever had to speak to customer services maybe three or four times and have always done it online.
The refund usually comes automatically.
To be on the safe side take a screen dump of the opt in screen saying you have opted in and then if the refund doesn't come through email customer services and send them the screenshot.

Cheers Dan, good call on using a screenshot. Got my £7 back but it's down as a goodwill gesture. They need a gritted teeth smiley
Just to rub their nose in it I stuck a quid of that refund on Blackburn beating Arsenal at 9.5 and they only went and done it. Wish I'd stuck the whole £7 on it now

Update. Quidco paid £25 for joining Gala bingo and depositing £10. Played through, am now £15 up. Played their promotion for a slot free fiver, if I lose £5 I get it back although there is a wager requirement of 1x I note. Won £10, total winnings £7.50.
Also played WH free fiver game, lost but got credited straight away.

To get £100 back from a winning bet (including stake):
Barca to score first, 4/7 on Paddy Power, costs £63.70.
Real to score first, 7/4 on Blue Square, costs £36.37.
0-0 is 25/1 on SkyBet, costs £3.84.
So the total cost to guarantee £100 is £103.91.
And that's on one of the most publicised fixtures in the world... how often is cross-bookie arbitrage possible?

Auxerre to score first, 20/19 on BWin, costs £48.78.
Sedan to score first, 6/5 on 188Bet costs £45.46.
0-0 is 9/1 on Sporting Bet, costs £10.
So the total cost to guarantee £100 is £104.24.
Am I being thick? Will this never happen because of the markets?

Thanks for your help Dan, won £40 on galabingo slots through you getting me into this. Done several bookies for intro bets, and quite a few slots. Starting to get into this now, and made about £150 in a week. I know it can't last as there are only so many bookies but it has opened my eyes to the opportunities, taken with great care!Good work.
Just make sure that any slot offers that you are doing really are risk free - many of the other bookies have rollover requirements etc before you can withdraw cash.
William Hill on the other hand seems happy to consistantly supply a stream of proper risk free slots offers. There was another one last night available.
Sign up bonuses for bookies are a brilliant way of making a couple of £K - just make sure your careful and understand the bet your placing and the offer your taking up - and you've read the t&cs
Bump.
Sky currently have (a) £10 free bet on sports, and (b) £15 free bets on Sky Vegas. New customers only, no deposit required.
With (a) I'll make £12 tonight if Liverpool beat Swansea, and withdraw it.
With (b) I had three goes at low stakes roulette, betting on red/black. Won three times. Walked away with £30 - won't be playing again.
Not a lot of money, but up to £42 from nothing ain't a bad return.
