I found another room.

£18 an hours, so assuming 3 hours, I have £46 left for a film... that could prove a challenge.

Must negotiate further.

Can you arrange to pay after the screening, then you can pay out of your profits rather than your original £100, cashflow and all that.

I've sort of already started, about a week ago....

... and just broken into profit, a whopping £1.70 so far!

And what are you doing? I have been wondering if this is just your ploy to see who actually has a good biz idea then you'll have a crack at it.

A quick bump for this thread as the kick-off date gets closer.

Did any of the people using eBay as the basis of their idea take advantage of the 'free' £5 offer tonight as a way of buying some stock?

My website is getting there. It maybe isn't so pretty but I'm happy with it for one of my first attempts at building a site, albeit using Wordpress. The snagging list is growing daily though and I keep spotting things that need changing. I can't wait for the big reveal to see it ripped to shreds by you lot!

How is everyone else getting on?

Health website: had old website transferred last night to the ISP's other server so I could create a decent one in WordPress. I was going to do it manually but I want to spend more time on content and less time on coding. Took me a couple of hours to do admin stuff but all working. Probably.

Videos: on the video side, already put up some fitness related videos. I can reuse these in the website, too. biggrin

I'm sticking with my £20 challenge but good luck with your interpretation. I can't spend the time that £100 warrants to me.

I already own some forex trading software, if i pull out £100 from the main account and use this, does this fit into the rules? I can show progress though a 3rd party account viewing website - Myfxbook

PS trading is not my main job, selling bogs is!

Yeah, that sounds fine to me. The whole purpose is to give people an idea of the bonuses and pitfalls of trying such things, no?

It's gambling... although if you use "investing" or even "value investing" and drop phrases like "Relative Strength Indicator" or "Stochastics" you can sound clever and businessy. You can even shout in an excited manner "Risk on!"

But it's up to Frimley.

Think I might join you guys on this. Sourced 80 chemises for $2 a piece, I'll start with $160 which is £100 at todays exchange rate, I can have them in stock by the 1st-2nd October. Probably taking the usual route - Ebay. But I do have other ideas, including a monthly club for a new chemise, sign up for $8pm and you get a sent a new chemise each month.

I like the idea of a monthly club as I can sell this to guys (as a present for their gf/wife, etc) or to the wife herself who wants something special [-]made in China[/] each month.

Oh, part of my health website will be an area to sell my own ebooks and related products. From my "paypal" thread, it looks like it is fairly cheap to set up (free!) - just need a paypal business account and they charge commission.

I love the idea of this thread, it's proper grass-roots entrepreneurship.

I don't have a spare £100 right now but I will be starting up a computer repair business in my local town in the not-too-distant. I need to scrape the money together for a website, flyers, PL insurance etc. I look forward to seeing how you guys all get underway!

The consensus was that yes otherwise you'd just empty out your house and make the most profit.
