Eccleston was OK, Tennent was where I switched off, and this chap is like a chimp in a suit.
I find a lot of the writing poor and too full of whimsy, I want harder, edgier stories. I think the writing is utter wk compared to old stories...save for the odd one which sparkles.
I also thought the last fella to play the Master was one of the worst performances of an iconic bad guy I've ever seen. Tim Dalton acted him off screen with his little finger.
Tim Dalton should be the Doctor.
