After some advice

Can you apply for a winding up petition against a company even if they are solvent, just not paying their debt?

From memory you need to serve a statutory demand first; if that goes unpaid, then you can move onto proceedings.

Yes, basically, providing the debt isn't disputed.

Here you go - stat demand for >£750. It can be a very effective debt collection technique but it can also be expensive if they company just let themselves fail
