Hello everyone,
Good day! I hope all is well. I hope you can help regarding my questions about the following products.

I am planning to buy a portable car jump starter for my car to my Toyota.

I just want to know your thoughts or experiences regarding these car jump starters? Are they good or not? Also if you have something that you can recommend it will be much appreciated.

Here are the products:
1. https://www.amazon.com/PowerAll-PBJS12000R-Rosso-P...

2. censored

3. https://www.amazon.com/Clore-JNC300XL-Jump-N-Carry...

Thanks so much!
Wott

Aquired one of these for my elderly father who struggles with the size and weight of an old lead acid jump pack. It's excellent, well made, holds charge works perfectly.

They work, all you are paying for with the more expensive ones is a lower propensity to catch fire.

If you only have one car, just spend the money on a decent battery for it instead.

Does depend on the kind of Toyota. A 1.2 Yaris and you're fine. A 4 litre V8 Soarer will struggle.

Friend has one of these:
Sealey E/START800 ElectroStart® Batteryless Power Start 800A 12V https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01BX17VRY/ref=cm_sw_r...
It uses supercapacitor technology instead of lithium batteries - so should be safer.
It charges up from a 'flat' battery - as long as the battery still has some power in it, it will charge the supercap up enough to statt your car.

Streetwize 14000 MAH Power Bank and Jump Starter from Argos http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5282555

Started my Mustang GT 5.0 V8 from a totally flat battery, so flat even the central locking didn't work.

I am concerned about Li-ion and I do keep the device inside the vehicle but disconnected and not trickle charging. If there was an incident then I would approach the vendor.

That's impressive. The one I have is rated up to 3 litres: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Energizer-50805-Lithium-P...

I only bought it because (1) it was sold in Aldi (2) it's a well-known brand. So there should be no issues and if there are, I can pop to my local Aldi and shout at them.

I decided on the Streetwize 14000 MAH Power Bank and Jump Starter from Argos as this device specification is rated significantly higher than alternative devices and at least it should be easy to return.

It is stated that this unit is suitable for petrol engine up to 3000cc and diesel engine up to 2500cc

The significant specs are
Capacity 14,000 mAh
Start Current: 300 Amps
Peak Current: 400 Amps

As I say it successfully started my Mustang GT 5.0 V8 from a totally flat battery.
