Last year I paid £75 to have the battery replaced in my IPhone by Apple. Just received an email stating that anyone who paid full price in 2017 will get a £50 refund. Bit of a bonus and totally unexpected. So keep an eye on your emails if this applies to you

Sounds legit, I had my battery replaced in my 6s + for £25 recently.

Spoke to Apple today and the refund had been processed. Not bad considering I sold the phone nearly a year ago

I was told a year ago when I paid for the replacement for my battery that it was at its end of life.

Do you think everyone will get a refund? I’m not expecting one.

Do they do any checks when you book in to have the battery changed? My battery health is at 91% and it states ‘Your battery is currently supporting normal peak performance’, even though my phone is now runnng very slowly..

Yes, they run diagnostics. Not sure if they will offer to replace the battery if the phone isn't reporting it as an issue.
