Sample product insertion into trade show pack
Discussion
Can anyone possibly advise on what it might cost to have product samples distributed at a trade show? There's no stand or representation but I was hoping to get the item into promo packs/bags.
The organisers have, presumably, clicked a URL sent to them as they've agreed that it could be done but I'd love to have a grasp of what the cost might/should be before going further.
Incidentally the product is non consumable FMCG with a low value of about £3.

It’s going to vary from show to show and how many visitors they expect to get and if they are handing out goody bags (most shows do give a bag with a show guide and other bits a land bobs in). It would be slightly unusual not to be represented as the show, it might be a red line for the organisers but I doubt it ! I’d ask them for a price then haggle after leaving it a week, it’s money for old rope for them plus it makes the goody bag a little bit better (unless in Tenna for men or some unwanted gift )
Thanks for the thoughts and suggestions. So far the give-it-a-week-then-haggle approach is most likely as booking a stand plus promo guy/s isn't on the cards at the moment.
I'll see what cost they come up with - I'm expecting it to be, at a guess, £750 - about half the cost of the cheapest stand.

You may be disappointed at your cost estimation. We looked recently at sticking in a pack of branded Top Trump style playing cards into an Exhibition Bag and was quoted £4.7k for 7,000 bags (which did include a half page ad in the show guide).
But as said, will vary from show to show.
