afternoon all ......

I am just in the process of starting a new endeavor (god I must be mad!!).....and i am looking for a little help/guidance ...our idea has 4 or 5 revenue generating streams .......and I wanted a clean, concise way of breaking these out (maybe in their own tabs?) ......wondered if anyone had any ideas ......or even better could point me in the direction of any templates that I could use?

thanks a million

Create separate rows for each revenue stream and, if you want, for the COGS for each revenue stream. I always find it easier to keep things on the one Sheet in Excel instead of having multiple tabs.

I have just built one of these for a new start up that we have just launched.

I put each stream on a separate tab and then brought them all together on a sheet that did an overall cashflow projection.

As we were doing scenario planning, I also had all the variables that we could alter on that sheet so we could see the overall impact easily.

Pivot tables.

I couldn't live without pivot tables.
