Remote card payment service

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a remote card payment service? We are looking to set most new customers up on a DD payment schedule but for those that it wont be suitable before I am looking to be able to take a credit/debit card payment up front. As I dont envisage this being used i was hoping for a pay as you go service rather than a minimum bill per month.

Any suggestions?

You can use Braintree to take card payments over the phone, but if you're using an online accounting package you might find that they have an integration for this which lets you send an invoice out and let the customer pay for it by card using an online payment gateway. I use FreeAgent and I can setup a direct debit mandate using GoCardless and accept card payments using Stripe, for example.

Stripe but will take a percentage. Or Xero but comes with monthly fee.

Have nailed it down to Square and Worldpay Zinc in case anyone else is interested. 2.5% transaction fee and no upfront or monthly costs.
