Will check tomorrow.

There is a grant for certain types of business of 10k for rvs of 1 to 15k and 25k for 15001 to 51k

Retail shops pubs hospitality estate agents nurseries bingo halls casinos etc... But still subject to state aid as at today... Effectively that is companies can only get 800k befire classed as state aid.. So larger companies are excluded...

Spent 4 hours trying to pick put these today... All i have is the account holdets name....

Getting fed up with it TBH

Looks like coyncils may be held accountable for paying grants to tje wrong people

Yet we are ecpected to get it done by nect week...

Software was realeased yesterday... Needs loading testing.

After software was released the govt made another change..

Our software company is basing identifying on valuation office codes which are given when property is built... So what was a shop may now be offices so not eligble..

Anyway will do, my best

Cheers. My problem is RV 15750, partial retail, partial service but in a unit, not your typical high street shop..

we have awarded , well about to, with a property with this VO description

VEHICLE REPAIR SHOP AND PREMISES

do you know how to look for your premises on www.voa.gov.uk ?

if so let me know what your premises are shown as being

if not PM me the address and post code and I will have look for you

There is a long list of types of businesses that can get the enhanced retail relief.

in our example a vehicle repair shop would not get it but the premises bit suggests you sell stuff from it as well and if thats to the public then at my LA you would be OK

worth a bit of time as if you get the grant it will be £25k as well as no NDR payments for 20/21

am still at work so please to try to help :-)

So any retail activity?

I ask as we have awarded it to some businesses with the description but they were te ableto prove that most of there activity was in retail to the public.

My unit would definitely qualify for SBRR (1000sq ft on a farm) but it was only completed last July and hasn't been rated yet. I've written off to the valuations people and to my local council but not heard anything yet (not that I'm expecting to) hopefully they will be making some provision for people in my situation.
Im in the same situation as yourself with a 1600sqft old farm building that has never been rated.

I'd like to think so, but there was a point made earlier (I thought it was in this thread but can't find it now) about being on the register at that time, and of course I wasn't.
