We are setting up a holiday let and forming a company to do so. 0 experience of this, but we do not want to use home address as registered or directors address on Companies House.

we being quoted 300quid a year to set a po box by our tax advisor, which rudimentary googling suggests is excessive - there are a number of websites that come up offering registered address services for under 50 quid a year, are they legit?

eg registeredaddress.co.uk or yourcompanyformations.co.uk

any advise gladly received

Your accountant may well do it for free. Mine does, anyway.

There are many virtual office providers around the UK. Do your research and look up on reviews first though. As already suggested, ask your accountant, many allow their address to be used.

And another for using your accountants. Mine did it at no cost.

I also use the accountants and have for the last 30 years, but do not think it as ‘free’, just factored in. After all had maybe 25 odd letters forwarded this year, but it’s a strange old year !
Still the best way to go.
