Has anyone used or know anyoine who uses "My Business" Software?? www.mybiz.co.uk/

If so what does everyone think.

I have had a go with it and it seems easy to use and well set out for a novice. i have also tried omni accounts but found it harder ti pick up.

I am not familiar with that particular piece of software. I always think that the main requirement is a basic knowledge of book-keeping and accounting, rather than "computers". It's usually errors of principle (eg. lack of awareness of the difference between "revenue" and "capital" items) that cause problems for those using accounting software.

I used to use QuickBooks for many years when I ran my consultancy business. Its easy to use. Most accountants know it and the dreaded VAT Man will accept returns calculated from it.

I use Quickbooks. It's excellent. Picked it up off eBay for about £30.

I would also lend my support to Quickbooks. It has some "danger areas" but all book-keeping software packages have some weak areas. I am also a fan of Sage although it has got quite expensive (£400 plus) in recent times.
