Anyone downloaded it yet? I have just downloaded an evaluation copy from trustee e-mule, and so far:
1) I cannot run it in hyperthreading mode - it hangs.
2) It has to be THE slowest O/S I have ever installed.
3) What's with the task bar on the right hand side with the in-built clock the size of Big Ben?? You would need a 19" TFT just to make the clock look right.
4) Don't remove the "Build number..." from the desktop, or it will hang next time you reboot it requiring a new installation.

Overall it does look different and exciting, but it's not as if Microturd is short of money, so why don't they pre-trial this to MCSE clients and await an honest feedback instead of releasing yet another Microturd *uck-up to the general public and try and sort it with Service Pack 6,000,000?

I have three machines running it tonight and I welcome the new look. Unfortunately when I log on to the Windows Update site it profusely swears at me with a large red 'Stop' sign! I wonder why that is??

Anybody else have any Longhorn experience?

The latest build of Longhorn, build 4015, is still for test purposes only. It clearly states that in front of the version number.

This is a version of an OS which is due to be released early 2005! You can not be seriously thinking that this is even close to the end product.
