Nick - I think that was someone else close-by (trust me).
And for the record - not me - as I'd have been playing Motorhead, Zeppelin or Hendrix, etc.

its a shame you left, i was the bloke parked next to you. i didnt see the piss incident but by all accoubts you should have told nick to sod off if you didnt want him in your car. hes a big boy (so ive heard) im sure he could deal with it! the tunes did drag on a bit and possibly if you make more of an effort to integrate then you'll enjoy yourself a bit more next time. sorry for the lack of capitals and punctuation im posting from my phone in tyrells. i never had nickp down as a fairweather pher

Dear Pug 106,
Just as a general observation, I reckon one of the reasons PH works so well is specifically because all everyone rips the piss out of each other! Just take a look through a typical day of posts in the Pie and Piston for proof of that...
Sure, NickP threatened physical violence to a number of people prior to Pistonfest for their use of txt spk, but he proved to be a complete pussycat, and failed to follow through on his promises. One might now say he has been pwned by his own petard!
The moral of my post is this... Plenty of people take the piss out of my "electric green Rover 75" on here. Sure, I could've taken offence and walked away, but it's far more fun to stick around, take the piss back and very quickly make a whole bunch of good new friends.
Were we taking the piss out of your car? Absolutely! Any small car like that with a dustbin exhaust and twice its own body weight in ICE is always going to come in for some stick on PH. Was this meant to drive you away? No. Liking cars is the main thing, and at least you didn't buy an automatic BMW unlike some of our more limp wristed brethren!
I reckon you've got 2 options now. Fade away and be forgotten, or rejoin the fray and rejoice in the piss-taking. Take the second option, and the very worst that can happen is that you're in the right place for some good advice when the time comes to buy your first grown-up car.
PS. No offence is meant by any perceived lack of smilies! It's a complete bastard typing a post this long on a mobile as it is!

Ah well, my girlfriend wasn't feeling good, and I was coming down with the same, hance going to bed at silly O'clock! And we left in the morning because she had to work this evening and the weather wasn't going to change. Sorry, im sure it came across as be antisocial but by all means it wasn't meant to be.I heard you putting the tent up last night and i was going to give you a hand but it sounded like Nigel and Ben were all the help you needed, and i was shattered!

That's a shame, but at least our behaviour wasn't to blame as we thought I heard you putting the tent up last night and i was going to give you a hand but it sounded like Nigel and Ben were all the help you needed, and i was shattered!
I think it was the lads moving Vixpy's tent that you heard That really was a toys out of pram moment by all accounts
