Hand eye coordination was a bit fked when it came to playing that boxing game against someones sober son (well he was 13/14 or so )
That was Nigel's son. He came out off-roading with us a few weeks back. He appears to have aged at least 15 years since 2007! hehe

Yes, it needs to be north of the M25 at least, especially with the lack of Sunday Services up this neck of the woods.

ETA

These things have to start somewhere, Donington may be grateful of the interest and offer something?

It doesn't get much more central either.

To be honest we were considering avoiding racing altogether.

A nice private camp site with good driving roads to reach it, large camp fire, big BBQ and perhaps a band for Saturday night.

Relaxed, informal, friendly and can be done cost-effectively keeping ticket prices low.

Think countryside, rather than trackside
Almost ideal pf type event IMO but needs some motorsport element (sprinting/rallying ?). If you can organise it in Aus I will be there. As was said earlier its more about the people than what you do. There where few people who were into drag racing at the first 2 events but it did introduce some people into new motorsport opportunties. It was about the convoys to the event, the stupid antics and the (ph members) cars. PH - people matter.

idea

Ph sponsors Red Victor -> Red Victor to make first official runs at Santa Pod in Easter -> PistonFest at Santa Pod for Thunderball 2011?

Too early to organise it? Thoughts?

Can I make a plea for picking somewhere with a B&B or something nearby so that those of us who are too crocked for camping can still come?

BTaP is prohibitively expensive, PF was perfect less the torrential rain and almost complete absence of Beccessible toilet and shower...
