Thanks - looks like it is a bug then, winds me right up - I mentioned it on this thread when I was on Beta OS which I would never do again. Thought it was a setting, it does indeed mirror what I do on the dimmed page so if I click around a website then go back to the dimmed one, it will be on whatever the highlighted one was on. Hopefully get a fix soon
Can you give some more detail on what works and what doesn’t?
You seem to be saying you can’t view a pdf attachment when received in an email - what is the email client you’re using? The standard iOS email client? And that it downloads but you can’t find them on the device?
And when you say you can see it in Safari is this when using webmail?

I’m using the standard email client/app on my iPhone & iPad. The emails come in but I cannot open the pdf attachments. I can see them but they won’t open.
If I login to my Yahoo mail account in Safari I can open the attachments there. I presume that’s what you mean by webmail?
Hope that’s clear?
ETA sometimes I can open the attachments if I move them to another folder in mail.

Sounds like a known bug https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254243237
If you long press on the attachment icon can you save it and then open it from the file app?

Morning All
Currently have a 2019 27" Mac as my private pc, with a windows lap top to dual screens set up from work. All three on the desk.
One of the windows screens has stated to show signs of age, so wondering whether I could replace with a new screen, that I can do a switchable set up to provide also a second screen for the Mac.
Currently the three screens on the desk are
MAC | WINDOWS 1 | WINDOWS 2
I am hoping to replace WINDOWS 1 with a new screen to set up as follows:
MAC 1| WINDOWS 1/MAC 2 | WINDOWS 2
Is it possible? If so, how? I do have a spare Apple TV somewhere - not a 4k one though. Wondering if that would work through HDMI........
Cheers

In the last major IOS update all my historical health data (blood pressure going back several years) was wiped in the Health app. Is there any way of retrieving it ?
I did this by accident recently; like a fool I went into 'Health -> Data Access and Devices -> scrolled to bottom to 'Devices' and deleted all the 'old' devices I no longer used. Of course, that deleted all my health data too, and so I lost all my data for years of runs, walks, BP readings etc.If you go into this, can you see all your old devices listed or are they gone? Or have you just had the one phone and watch?
(You can also see your devices with health data attached by clicking on your user details in the top-right of the main Health app screen and going to the bottom.)
If they are gone there then they are gone forever sadly, unless you have a recent phone backup. You can export your data though the Health app by clicking on your user details as detailed above.

Should be possible - look for one that has the inputs needed to connect to both computers separately e.g. 2xHDMI or 1x DVI and 1x DisplayPort etc. You should also be able to connect AppleTV via HDMI, although you should be able to do most of that through the Mac anyway.Currently have a 2019 27" Mac as my private pc, with a windows lap top to dual screens set up from work. Of course - obvious really. I mentioned the Apple TV as a means of connecting the Mac to the new screen - but as long as I can get a TB to HDMI it should be rosey.robsa said:

Seems a bit bonkers to be associated with the specific device rather than your Apple ID account.

Adding the AppleTV just seems to be an additional step you don't need.Depending on the iMac/monitor, you may find the Mac's TB3/USB-C will work with a USB-C monitor too (although you'd need more than just the single input on the monitor to support the Windows PC).
