Nothing in Marlow Bucks, on either WCDMA or GSM, totally borked. I thought it was my phone (SXE).
They have WCDMA in Marlow? Only place in Europe then!

Anyone else having issues with O2 particularly in the IPhone 4S?
"no service" or "searching..."

It's ok O2. I only need it to run my fking business you useless inept cretins.

"pssst..... we have 200 engineers dedicated to network performance"
Yeah really, where are they then?

shoot
My exact word for word sentiment earlier.

Still out for me. Either 'Searching' or 'No Service'

Essex
iPhone 3GS

Went to their Status site to be told nationwide trouble. Inputted my Postcode to be told everything is fine.
No operator is perfect, they all have outages, so with this knowledge do you have no contingency plan in place to keep yoru business running? Would save you a lot of bother when this happens!

To be truthful, I've no idea what they've got here but my phone allows me to select WCDMA preferred, WCDMA only, GSM only, etc etc and I've tried my phone on all settings. It normally 'lives' on WCDMA preferred as that is what it was on when I bought it.

i have just recived this from my provider

'Please be aware that O2 are experiencing signal outages which are currently affecting the whole of the UK. We have been advised that some customers will experience an error message when trying to make calls, this is intermittent and will not affect all users.

Unfortunately no turnaround time has been advised, please bare with the network as they work on fixing this.'

That's atrocious. It's 'bear' not 'bare'.

Bugger - ive just made an appt at the genius bar to return my iphone.

Had no signal since lunchtime (nw london).

Called carphone warehouse and they told me to take it to the apple store. They were not aware of any problems.
