Not for me, but a mate biggrin Honest! biggrin

The problem she reports is below

"my shift keys have gone wonky and every time i try to use it it turns on full screen mode and asks me about caret browsing. i've managed to stop the caret browsing thing but i can't see anywhere, despite searching, how to get shift to work properly - sticky keys off. left shift refreshes page and turns on full screen, right shift brings up history. v annoying."

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

She's split something on the keyboard.

Laptop or desktop?

If nothing's been spilled on it, it's probably either crumbs or a dodgy connection.

Try:
- bashing the keys. This has been known to unstick something lodged where it shouldn't be.
- pressing down firmly in the centre of the keyboard. Depends on the exact model of laptop, but this is often where the connector is.

What's the make & model? It may be very easy to remove the keyboard & replace it.

Sounds like a firefox issue. Pressing F7 asks about caret browsing, F11 makes it go fullscreen. If it's happening from shift keys, either somebody has remapped the keys, or the keyboard is fecked.
