Is that a piston heads app?works on the pc too
On tha basis that if I were to lose my phone, there may be a reasonable person that finds it, I put together an image for my lock screen that looks like this:
phone_front by conradsphotos, on Flickr
Given that even without a phone I'd usually have access to email, and failing that they can call my OH re. arranging return.
I've never actually lost a phone, but have been in a position at work where others have left a phone on a desk and picked it up not knowing who to return it to, I just thought it might be useful info to put on the lock screen.

I do that, it's an option on Android iirc.
That said, I've found smartphones before, bring them to the store, they can identify the owner based on the sim card easily enough...

True, but my reasoning was to make it as easy as possible for someone to contact me in the event they found it.That said, I've found smartphones before, bring them to the store, they can identify the owner based on the sim card easily enough...
I'm also aware that provided it is still connected, I can remote lock it and display a message on it via "Find my iPhone", but simply having the info immediately there may help a more speedy return....

Just to warn you, I can still make out your wife's phone number on that picture. Might be worth getting rid of the picture!
