That’s quite reasonable
That looks pretty smart but is it wide enough to cover a standard light switch hole?

Its a double socket blanking plate from screwfix. About £5. It covers the hole nicely. Ive used a connector block to connect the lights up permanently. The hue switch has a tiny dab of superglue on. The battery is meant to last 3 years i think.

The switches attach magnetically and you can get at the original switch. They just fasten over the top of the original plate

Thanks for posting the links to the discounted dimmers. I do everything by voice or the app so I can't think why I need a dimmer, but this thread would definitely be useful if we keep posting any discounted Hue gear we see. I'm hoping for decent deals on Black Friday.

I'm on the look out for some more motion sensors.

Really handy for hall and landing, downstairs toilets etc

Under stairs cupboard and utility are next on my list

Fill your boots at Robert dyas with half price bulbs: loads in stock near me so hopefully people will get lucky: https://www.robertdyas.co.uk/home-electricals/smar...

I’m waiting out for Black Friday as about to upgrade the mothers V1 hub and her couple of bulbs to the whole house.

Thanks for the tip on the remotes, just ordered another one as I’m hoping some GU10 white ambiance go on sale on Black Friday, planning on decking out the kitchen which has 16 bulbs eek

Thanks for the tip - more dimmers ordered

Amazon will likely have black friday deals - they usually do - but will be bundles rather than individual items - so you just have to hope that it's a bundle of stuff you want.

I have sooooo much Hue stuff that I'm close to needing a third hub - I'm hoping they update the app soon for better multi-hub support.......

Has anyone used the Hive Gu10 adaptable bulbs?

They seem to do 80% of Hue but at a much better price
