Both my tablet and 6 Pro are back to normal, must've been an odd glitch!

Cracked the screen on my 6 Pro today, didn't close the pocket on my work trousers properly and dropped it out of the truck.
Quote for a replacement screen is ridiculous.

My 6 Pro is charging slowly and running the battery down over a day in light use. I'm assuming this isn't normal?

I charge my 6 Pro overnight with an alarm set for 630AM which AFAIK helps battery life or something and after a year and a bit easily lasts all day with pretty heavy use

Doesn't sound quite right for a new one... Mine's about 8 months old and uses about half the battery in a typical day.

Battery health at 99% according to Accubattery.

My 7pro as like that, but it seemed to take a week or so to learn how I use it and adapt, and now is excellent. Make sure you have a PD charger so it can change at proper speeds.

Next problem. Now contactless has stopped working.

I have to say this phone feels like junk compared to my ancient Huawei P30 Pro.

It sounds like an issue with your phone, I'd invoke the warranty.

Not trying to Jinx anything but my 7 has been rock solid. If anything, battery life is getting better. Charge it once and hammer it throughout the day (I'm a heavy user) and still have circa 10% before charging.

Waiting for that £100 voucher so that I can put it towards the pixel bud pros. Anyone got an email from Currys for their discount voucher/purchase (if bought last month)?

Percy.

Looking at purchasing a Pixel 7 Pro, trying to find the best deal as I'm only interested in the Sim-free handset.

Has anyone seen any deals?

Alot of places have the handset with a Fitbit Versa 4 for £849, is this the best offer about currently?

I have no interest in any of the accessories so would be looking to sell them on to recoup some of the phone purchase price.

I bought mine off eBay for just over £600. Still sealed in the box. If it breaks it's still under google warranty. Like you, I wasn't interested in any accessories.

I decided to give the Pixel watch a try a couple of weeks ago having originally said I would sell it and I have to say it has really impressed me.

One thing that annoyed me with my Suunto 7 sports watch was that it often left a rash from the strap and an indent where the heart monitor was on my arm when I was wearing the watch 24/7.

Initially I thought it was far too small but quickly I have realised it is the perfect size for 24/7 wear and fitness tracking. It disappears when not needed and the smooth pebble shape makes it really comfortable.

Battery life (for me ) is easily 24 hours and the bezels that lots of people made a big deal for me are not a problem due to the software and watch faces cleverly blending into them.

Pixel 7 Pro wins phone of the year, among other things, by YouTuber "MrWhoseTheBoss" (12m subscribers)

I've been using an S21 Ultra for the last couple of years, but if the improvements to the Pixel keep coming they could tempt me back.
