There's a new version of Windows 10 called Creators Edition/Version/Whatever.

I just checked my Windows updated and it offered it to me. So now it's downloading.

Anyone else installed it yet ?

Been running various previews of it for a while now. Pretty good imo. Think of it as Win10 SP2.

Yes, like Anniversary edition, i.e. Win 10 SP1.

It's still installing.....

Funnily enough, I deployed it to a couple of machines in our test environment this morning, including my own.

Looks like they're finally getting some UI cohesiveness and consistency with removing the easy access to cmd and Control Panel. The Settings app is a lot slicker now and has brought in Defender and a few other bits properly.

Still a couple of minor headaches for enterprise; issue with machine certificate enrollment and, strangely, lockscreen and logon screen backgrounds but I'm sure I'll have those licked shortly.

Nice progression.

Mine is done. Maybe 10 minutes while it did the final install and a couple of reboots.

So far I've failed to spot any differences ! But then I've not looked very hard I must admit.

Try Paint 3D if you get bored. That's worth a 10 minute fiddle smile

Oooh, shiny! <click>

I never learn. I only rebuilt it a week ago.

Extra security / privacy options in there too.

I'm holding off on updating until I see if the early adopters suffer.

I'm back. No trauma. A couple of extra icons top left in Edge.

As per usual trying to update a 32Gb Windows tablet is an absolute nightmare. It does the requirements check, CPU, RAM, Disk Space, tells me everything passes then when I click install says there's not enough disk space (There's 8.3Gb free). MS seems to have taken a step backwards in that usually previous updates would give you the option of choosing an alternative drive (USB for example) but not this time.

I've got the same problem on my windows Tablet. It will not install Anniversary edition as it says not enough space either.

I deleted my original recovery partition. It was Win8 and unlikely I'd ever use it again as Win10 has it's own recovery partition.

Then I used Disk Clean-up in administrative tools to delete a load of files and eventually Windows update started installing the update automatically.
