Last week I thought I'd try Waze to navigate to somewhere I'd never been to before.I also wanted to connect my phone(Samsung S7) to the car via Bluetooth to listen to some music. This meant of course that every time Waze piped up it was via the radio but at a very low volume, is there any way of forcing Waze to use the phone's speaker instead of via Bluetooth?

I don't know if you can force Waze to use the phone speaker, are you sure the volume on your phone was turned up?

Yes volume up as the music was fine, Waze must use the "media o/p" as well as music player.

Should be an option in settings shouldn't there?

To be honest I just mute it and keep half an eye on it.

Go into settings, find Sound & Voice, there's a switch for "Play Sound to Phone Speaker"

Or change Waze sound settings to Mute or alert only?
