Windows 10 Media Player stopped working

This has suddenly happened in the last month or so. Trying to open 'Music' via File Explorer does nothing at all. Opening Windows Media Player from the Apps list works, but after only a minute or two the following message appears:-


Troubleshooting program claims to have found and repaired some errors but has made no difference.

Any ideas?
