Google Pixel 2 and 2xl
Discussion
As the Pixel runs stock Android it's probably the best experience you'll get. Relatively few bugs coming straight from Google rather than having third party bits added on top that can cause problems. That said, Android is different to iOS so you'll take a couple of days to get used to it. Having three navigation buttons rather than just the one should theoretically make things easier but many struggle changing initially.

Jinxed myself, had it happen a few times posting on IG in the last 48 hours.
Ah no, sorry to hear that. I'm waiting to go to CPW to have the inevitable battle with one of their tech bar staff to try to get my phone exchanged, just in case it's somehow hardware related. With IG and other apps having been updated a couple of times since the problematic Android update, the only alternative I have is to keep waiting for an further OS update with the relevant bug fix. Let me know how you get on with yours.

Anyone move from IPhone to one of these? How was the experience? Keen to try one but looking for the least hassle in terms of changing, had Iphones for forever.
I changed from a 6S to an XL2 and the change was easy, you get a cable, plug both phones together and it syncs everything across. Don't think I'd go back to an iphone

Sorry for thread revival, but has anyone with a Pixel 2 / XL had any issues since the last Android update about 3 weeks ago? The update reportedly unlocked the phone's vision core chipset to 3rd party apps. Since the update any in-app camera function (IG, Whatsapp, FB etc) just freezes the screen and I have to back out the app. The phone's camera app works fine.
I've cleared caches, re-installed apps and waited for apps to be updated, to no avail. Next step I guess is to to a backup and re-install. Can't find any other reports of the same issue, which is frustrating!
For the purpose of completeness, CPW sent my handset away for repair, but they resorted to sending me a replacement, which is working perfectly. My phone went away just before the March Android update so I can't comment on whether actually that would have fixed the issue. Anyway back to having a fully functional Pixel 2 XL. Not having it for over a week has really reminded me how good it is.I've cleared caches, re-installed apps and waited for apps to be updated, to no avail. On offer at the moment from CPW too. I might be tempted...

I know that the display on these is 'warmer' that other phones, but my 2 (not XL) has developed a yellow/brown tinge in the last week.
Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?
Attached photo taken with work iPhone SE against a piece of white A4 and my 'beautiful' veneer desk.
Its a grey import which won't help matters..
ETA - It's covered by the Amazon subsidiary here, before I send it off then wanted to check that there is an issue and it is not my tired, hungover eyes.
Below is side by side with work phone, that is far too brown isn't it?!
