Smartphone Tripod

I'm currently covering Taekwondo and a press person has a DSLR on one of these. It's flexible, the legs can be curled around a bar and it can be left for example. eBay has some for a smartphone but am curious is people can steer me the correct way for a decent one not a foam one or a crap one? I use it for videoing myself with my smartphone. Works a treat. Not too expensive either.
