What about the one fitted to it?
Got a couple of fairly big scratches on it so I want to get a new one. Reviews on Amazon are mixed.

Has anyone found a decent screen protector?
Got the spigen tempered glass one off amazon (along with the case), which is pretty good so far. Also went with the spigen case - if you get both, fit the case first as it's a really tight fit with them both on and the case can lift the screen protector off if not exactly centred mad

I'm thinking about a P20 Pro next, but I've heard some Huawei phones have trouble with the Garmin Connect app. My sister has a P10 and the app doesn't work on her phone.

Does anyone use this on a P20 Pro and can confirm it works fine?

Exactly this - the Spigen case is great, but there's zero tolerance between the edge of the case and where the protector needs to fit.

And if the protector does lift, it'll never stick as well to the screen.

Just as well I ordered a 2 pack of protectors.

It does work and work well. You have to go into the Battery settings | App Launch and Manage Manually the settings rather than let the 'phone deal with it, once done you should be good to go. I find the connection better than my old iPhone 7 plus.

Quick one - is anyone having issues with Location Sharing on Google Maps. Says its sharing OK, then immediately shows me as offline. Didn't do that on my old S8 frown

Kind of. Allows snapshot visibility in Maps, doesn't do breadcrumbs, so you can see where they are, not where they have been. If it chuffing well works...

I’m currently using an IPhone 6s and thinking of one of these next. It’s been a long time since I’ve used an Android based phone, what music streaming options do you have?

Everything apart from Apple stuff. They are fantastic.

I need another charger and bought some cables on amazon which wouldn't charge - they worked, then stopped, then worked, then stopped. The problem was the cable, not my mains adapter, so they went in the bin.

Has anyone got a link to cables that actually work?

Weirdly enough, those are exactly the ones I bought and they don't work...

I have these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Huawei-P10-plus-5A...

Genuine Huawei cables and they cost peanuts. They can take a while to turn up.

After much deliberating I’ve made the move from an iPhone 7 to the Pro. I’ve been an Apple fan for years but I’ve experience nothing but trouble with my 7 and the price of the 8 and X, for essentially the same phone put me off.

My pro arrived earlier, currently sat in the box until I have time to set it up.

I went for the ‘Twilight’ version with the fancy back. It looks fantastic. Noticed some cool camera features which I’m keen to play around with. There’s some really well thought out features which I’m looking to explore in more detail. Nice touch having a clear case and screen protector in the box too.

Forgot to add my deal; O2, 2yr contract, unlimited calls, text and 15GB data for £33

I’ve just called and got an early upgrade. No upgrade fee, no phone fee, twilight edition with 10gb data for £39 per month.

I’m reallu looking forward to having a play with it tomorrow.

How long did you have left on your contract and who are you with if you don't mind me asking?
