This link (from the website above) shows some interesting comparisons:

Oh, I've ordered it - It's more expensive than initially billed at £41 a month, but that will get me this phone, unlimited blah blah and 25Gb data smile

It's definetly the camera what's won it for me - These days most other things are secondary as it'll always do calls and texts and 128Gb internal storage (over my 16 internal and 32 external) smile

The handheld lowlight ability of the p20 pro really is good..
I think its low light capabilities are outstanding.

For instance, these shots were taken at night with no flash:

Haven't started messing with the 40MP mode yet.

I've yet to try the 40mp mode too - What size photos will these give me?

ETA - Just had a really close look - There's no way another SIM will fit in my phone "draw"...

5472 x 7296.

Maybe 13Mb-15Mb per shot, at a guess.

Doing a bit more googling it appears there are two versions available - a dual sim and a single sim - i can't seem to find out if the dual sim is available in the UK though.

Single is only the UK. Huawei usually end their model numbers with L09 for single SIM and L29 for dual.

The pictures are exceptional - far and away better than my s7 - am seriously impressed.

Battery life is great too - lots of use (no game playing) yesterday with lots of photos taken and 40% left by bedtime which was very impressive biggrin

Idiot question, that I hope someone can help me with - How do I remove/hide icons from the home screen. On my S7, I could hide apps/utilities that are installed, but on the P20 (and Android 8), I can't seem to hide them...

I think this should help: https://www.technobezz.com/enable-app-drawer-huawe...

...or install a different launcher from Google Play.

Enable App Draw, then hold the icon you want to remove and drag it to the top of the screen. When you hold the icon, REMOVE will appear at the top of the screen.

Next question...

On the always on display, I don't get a small icon for notifications - is there something for that? I've tried enabling and disabling face recognition and other stuff, but I just get the useless tiny light which doesn't help if the phone is on silent....
