I’m currently waist deep in some home renovation projects. The other half and I both have folders on our phones / tablets / laptop filled with ideas, photos, tradesmen contacts...

Is there something like a free Pinterest (or even just a joint file type thing) where we can both chick things in and both see it all?

Like a joint online scrapbook.

Google photos ... It will automatically upload all your photos and then you can add them to a shared album

If you use the US keyboard (it's restricted in Europe due to the privacy laws) you can also teach it to do facial recognition and share any photos automatically to that album!

Both mine and the OHs phone automatically share photos of the kids to each others gallery

OneNote... does everything you want and if in conjunction with oneDrive it can be viewed from any mobile device.

Plus its awesome.

If you need something that can take the written note down, look at rocketbook as it can hook into oneNote.

Either one note or evernote.

Both are great.

Google Keep is very good, allowing you to to scrapbook or list whatever you want. You can access it from phone, tablet, laptop, whatever, and and allows you to share individual notes with others to collaborate. Effectively shared yellow sticky notes.

Particularly good is the reminder feature, which is not only time based but location based, so it will ping up the reminder when you arrive at a specific place.

Trello. It’s sort of like post it notes but you can add images, urls, notes etc. in a collaborative way together. You out the post it notes I. Columns of your choosing to organise them.

Another vote for OneNote. I use it with my Note 8 and Surface Pro and being able to write down notes and have then sync is brilliant.

If you do go for OneNote then don't forget Office Lens. It will allow you to take photos and put them into OneNote but if it is a document then it will straighten it up which also works for whiteboards etc so you don't need to stand in front of them.
