Can anybody tell me the answer to this please.

When using O/express and emptying the deleted emails folder are they really deleted or are they still on the pc somewhere. I may want to find them one day. Thanks.

Really really deleted. As the name would suggest.

An MS Certified friend tells me they're generally recoverable until you compact the folders.

I get the general idea that nothing is really deleted unless you overwrite that part of the disc.

Now, that's what I thought, sceptic that I am! I wonder how easy it is to recover them?
