Hi guys.

I will be the 1st to admit, i'm not brilliant when it comes to tv's.

I have a LG internet tv, and am trying to connect a marley sound bar, the young people in the house have tried to do it via bluetooth with no joy.
The TV has hdmi ports in the back, but the sound bar has a usb port.

I want to connect the tv to sound bar via a cable, and have searched ebay for a hdmi to usb cable, and have found loads, but do not know which one is the right one. Needs to be about 2 metres long.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks.

That’s not a soundbar, it’s a small portable speaker intended to be used via Bluetooth from a phone.

You could use if from your TV via 3.5mm audio jack from your TV if it has a 3.5mm output

If USB to USB works and if your TV doesn't have a USB port on the back try the sides of your TV for USB ports.

The usb port is only there to help you charge your phone whilst it's connected to the speaker.
As another poster has said, it's a Bluetooth speaker for mobile devices, not a soundbar.

You could theoretically connect the 3.5mm input to the earphone output on your tv if it has one, but the quality may suffer.

TV headphone socket to 'AUX in' on the Marley speaker will solve your problem.

You will probably need a standard 3.5mm plut to 3.5mm plug, that's all.

Ensure the volume turned down on both TV and speaker before connection.
