Hi all

Strange question, but is there an app for iPhone / a san tab model, that can record a new route that’s been driven then the option to save the route to use again?

Not quite what you want as it doesn’t record but inRoute is an app that lets you set weigh points for Apple Maps (and maybe google maps on iOS) to follow.

Good luck

You can do this with a Garmin.

The satnav makes a Track Log of your journey which you can then save and use as a route.

Thank you, That sounds ideal, is that with any of the new Garmin units?

Tom Tom will also do this via record route feature.

Just had a look at that now, that looks just what I’m after, and found a ‘start 42’ for £36 on eBay

Every Garmin I've had since 2002 could do this. Use it with Garmin's Mapsource or BaseCamp software on a PC and it makes it a doddle.
