bluetooth phone/car issues

Hi there wonder if anyone has any suggestions that might help...

Have a doogee S60 android phone that connects via bluetooth to a JVC KW-NT3 car radio unit for calls and for podcast playback. However it's very buggy, often drops out, sometimes despite turning both on and off the phone wont connect, sometimes it thinks its connected but isnt.

Any ideas? something running in background clogging things up I can disable or better bluetooth software/app?
