Broadband rip off

I don’t have a phone line currently so I’m guessing I might need a fair amount of time to get a new provider in. Don’t really want no internet in that time.
Chat with Voda: https://www.vodafone.co.uk/broadband/deals/superfa...They can tell you how long it will take. If planned correctly, you shouldn't be without internet access at all.

I'm just about to move, currently am in a house with Virgin 200mbps, can't afford that when I move, so the Vodafone deal looks like the best around at that price level, are they any good? Upload speeds look good as well.
Price-wise they seem good but I can't vouch for their reliability. I will let you know in a month's time. Edited by .Adam. on Friday 16th August 16:22

My Vodafone is hit and miss. Its fine during the day, but quite often, at around 10pm to 11pm,my internet drops completely and I get nothing for around 10 minutes or longer.Vodafone blamed the placement of my equipment, even though it worked perfectly with Sky prior to the swap.
Things have improved, had 1 drop out this month, rather than 1 a day and I haven't made any changes.
I've just had another look and actually the wording is a bit confusing. It says there's a £60 installation fee, and £60 for a new line, but then it is only £60 upfront in total.
I was just about to sign up with Plusnet when I noticed that the Topcashback offer means you can't get their reward card thing. Their standard website price is £27.99 plus £10 installation and a £70 reward card. The Topcashback price is £27.50 and no installation and £60 cashback.
Weirdly if you do Topcashback with BT you can still get the reward card.
Actually, Plusnet seem to charge £50 for the phone line on top of installation which I didn't realise, and yet oddly BT don't.
So, some quick sums:
BT = £37.99 x 24 months = £911.76 + £9.99 delivery - £110 cashback - £120 reward card = £691.75 / 24 months = £28.82/month
Plusnet (Cashback) = £27.50 x 18 months = £495 + £50 line - £60 cashback = £485 / 18 months = £26.94
Plusnet = £27.99 x 18 months = £503.82 + £10 installation + £50 line - £70 reward card = £493.82 / 18 months = £27.43
Voda = £23 x 18 months = £414 + £60 installation - £42 cashback = £432 / 18 months = £24
Anything else worth considering?

Except if you get pretty much the same thing but for more money.
This is the thing, it's not like petrol or milk where everything is pretty much the same.You get consistent speeds, excellent support in the unlikely event it goes wrong and a high quality router. And you don't get entire threads about people complaining about how bad they are...

I've just signed up with Voda. Never really trusted them as a mobile provider, but the reviews of their broadband are good so far. Also found some other sites were offering £100 giftcard to sign up and potentially a free Amazon Echo.
Depends on what you call good Pedestrian speeds (Which I know are good enough for many but less reliable than Virgin BT Sky etc..
