Skype for Business on iOS - Can't delete previous co account

OK so I was usig Skype for business on office 365 via the Iphone App whilst I was contracting with company x.
I left company x and moved to company Y.
Have now logged in to new Skype for Business account with Company Y however the app still shows the account for company X.
I have tried deleting the app and then logging back in with company Y but the company X account keeps coming back to the main screen.
IT dept in company Y say I need to get IT in company X to delink from my iphone but company X don't know what I am talking about and say if you have left then the account should not be showing on the app.
Anyone got any ideas on how to remove the company X account?
No loss to any functionality for company Y but just damn annoying to see it every morning when I log in!
