90GB on mine.

Most I've EVER used on a phone is 33GB in a month.

EDITED:- For my error.

Well given the big bucks that's needed for the new Galaxy S20, looks like I'll be going for a P30 Pro to upgrade from my S9+.

I just have 20gb data on my phone with Tesco mobile, I took out Clubcard plus for £7.99 a month and it's doubled my data to 40gb. wink

Same case I've got for my P30 Pro. Can't fault it.

whats the 'deal' with Huawai and google, it would appear the P30 is immune, but the P40 wont be.

What does it mean in practice and will P30 continue to be immune?

From memory, it's because the P30 was in the offing, whereas the P40 wasn't - Anything in progress was allowed, anything new wasn't

but what does it mean for the P40.

I really want the Huawei for the camera, it pretty much nearly replaces a compact camera. 5g would be nice, but that means P40, or do I go down the P30 Pro route for the next couple of years and let 5g embed and hope someone else comes up with a camera as good as the Huawei in the meantime. Years ago I was early adopter on 4g which was great when I was in London and pants everywhere else.

That was my understanding but according to the Carphone Warehouse website it doesn't come with Google mobile services anymore.
My Huawei App Gallery has various downloads available & I've heard that you can side load Google. Anyone have experience of doing it?

You're looking and talking about two separate phones.

The P30 PRO does come with all the Google gubbins. The MATE 30 Pro was the first model NOT to come with the full Google suite and that's the one posted above. Surprised CW are even bothering stocking it.

Indeed - I went for a P30 Pro on an o2 contract two weeks ago and all is well in Google-land on it.

I'm on the same deal 90GB deal. Great phone. Get a case though. It's almost as slippery as a bar if soap!

I walked into the EE shop last weekend to talk about ditching SKY and sigining up to BT.
While I was there waiting for the bumff to be printed off, I chatted to the salesguy about the phones. I said I have an iPhone 6s, pissed off with obsolecence and asked for the entry level Huawei that would be similar. He said definitely the P30 Lite, it's better than the iPhone 11.
I only pay £10pm for a sim only deal (I refuse to pay monthly for fashion items) and this P30 Lite weighs in at £20pm for 4GB data.
Amazing value.

I'm scared. Convince me I would do the right thing, moving from Apple to Huawei please!

There's not a chance on earth the P30 lite is better than an iPhone 11. It's probably more than adequate for most needs but that sales person is having a laugh.

I have the normal P30 and it's a very good phone but despite having not tried any Apple devices for many years, I'd still hazard a guess that the 11 is a better phone than the P30 let alone the lite.

Edited to add, I wouldn't call that amazing value, I picked up the P30 for £19 upfront and £22 per month with 100GB of data (not that I need anywhere near that much).
