While I was there waiting for the bumff to be printed off, I chatted to the salesguy about the phones. I said I have an iPhone 6s, pissed off with obsolecence and asked for the entry level Huawei that would be similar. He said definitely the P30 Lite, it's better than the iPhone 11.
I only pay £10pm for a sim only deal (I refuse to pay monthly for fashion items) and this P30 Lite weighs in at £20pm for 4GB data.

I'm scared. Convince me I would do the right thing, moving from Apple to Huawei please!
I'd say it depends, If you are fully bought into Apple ecosystem it's very good, but its a 'golden handcuff' expensive and they lock you in to upgrading path, if you want wide compatibility, options and choice, go Android. I've had a p20 Pro for almost 2 years now and really don't know what to upgrade to. P40 would have been obvious choice but lack of Google rules it out.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure, but the option of an external memory card (albeit a proprietary one), the duo camera option and the better zoom is the draw.I've had a p20 Pro for almost 2 years now and really don't know what to upgrade to. Looking at getting this once my contract ends in the summer, i currently have a mate 10 pro thats been excellent but battery and camera are getting worse so this is a perfect next step, the only annoyance is brexit..

Stuck between three and o2. o2 is cheaper and has a better network, but they gave a really vague answer when asked if they will keep free EU roaming after the end of the year, whilst three have fully committed.
Anyone heard anything to suggest o2 wont screw me in 6 months time?

I upgraded with O2 and they said that for my 2 year contract I'll have EU roaming...
Also, I've migrated everything from my P20 pro but the date stamps are all screwed and when I try to post anything from Instagram, ALL the photos are now dated yesterday. The EXIF data is right, but the file date is not.
It's updated to EMUI 10... Can't really see any difference...

Do other users here just have the default lock screen images and if so have you recently noticed what looks like an advert for a people carrier (bonus points for make and model) in lieu of pretty scenery?
I realise you can change the images and your preferences for topics included but this seemed an odd addition.

I didn't even realise this was a thing - It's gone...Does anyone use Skype? Mine doesn't notify me ever - I had the problem on the P20, but that was intermittent, this seems constant.
