New Winter Build - Serpent 1/8 IC On Road race car.

So the weather has turned pants, and I’m bored, so this weekend I started the build of my Serpent 1/8 on road race car.

Word of warning, it’s picture content heavy..

Stalled yesterday because the very expensive low profile Spektrum servos are actually not tall enough to fit in the servo mounting tray!

That looks like it's going to be a bit of a weapon!

What shell have you got planned to sit on top?

Used to love watching these at the Crystal Palace track when I was meant to be warming up for track and field events at the stadium :-)

Yes they are pretty quick on track as I am sure you know,

I was going to put this body on it, and go with a NASCAR track look, but only realised when I got he body that I was only for longer wheel base 1/8 cars.



So as this is a proper pan car racer it will be one of these bodies to comply with the race class specifications.
