I think the next shipment is coming in next week. But I think a lot of places have sold out of that batch so it will be a case of hunting around. Then there is another shipment coming towards Christmas.
Argos are showing collection this Saturday in my area. I’ve put an order in. We’ll see if it materialisesFor anyone looking for something more substantial I found this.

It looks a good price. Older model but I’m sure still very good.

Sold my Mavic Pro this week as a bit much for my needs and didn’t fancy the whole register thing for what is a few photos every couple months.
Quick Argos check Wednesday and a Mini Fly More Combo available for Saturday locally which I reserved and just collected, it’s now charging if one battery gets charged will see how it goes. Think they had just one come in as once reserved none more available in the area,
Looking forward to the first flight......

Just picked up a Mini while on my travels in the US - didn't get the fly more as simply not available anywhere, so having bounced it off the wall and replaced a propeller on my first flight I will be pre-ordering the propeller guard!!
Extremely impressed, just so easy to fly in every way and the picture quality is great. Lots of good youtube videos on settings etc like how to fix the exposure value - with a bit of the correct settings the results are looking impressive - I intend to try and replicate the intro to this video, which was taken on the mini:

Its possibly technically illegal to fly in the UK being the FCC version, but I need it for business in the US, so wanted their version.

One bonus of the Mini over the Pro I had is being so much lighter it can pop in my backpack and you don't notice your carrying it.
Am very happy with the pictures it's taken today, did a little vid in 2.7k too and that look nice smooth with good detail too.
Very pleased with my swap from Pro to Mini, easier to fly, nice pictures and ideal for the occasional use I do.

I am in Colorado this week on holiday and was itching to take my drone out and give it a go, we were in the mountains at an elevation of around 10000ft.
here : https://www.google.com/maps/place/Lake+Estes/@40.3...
We parked up next to this beautiful frozen lake, setup the drone and took off having set the home point. The DJI fly app showed me a warning about high altitude and warned about decreased speed.
As I took off over the lake all was going well!
As you can see the footage captured so far is great, but here's where it went bad.
I gained a little altitude for a better view (around 34m) and suddenly the app displayed "strong winds" and you could see it was struggling for control, at this point I decided to abort and press "home" to get her home safely and with plenty of battery.
Unfortunately this didn't go to plan and around the same time I selected RTH, I lost R/C connection so was left with a blank screen.
I found out later the drone travelled to the opposite bank of the lake:
Over a house and a racetrack:
Finally some horses
dangerously near some trees where according to the vid it bounced around here for about a minute (finding somewhere to land?)
but too late:
Luckily there is a road around the lake and as we drove around (me driving and my other half trying to find a connection) we had some luck and the camera display came back to life on the app - we activated "find my drone" and got a decent GPS fix and a display here :
We drove around and then walked for 5 minutes onto some land and even though it was around 20 minutes after we lost contact (around 45 mins total since takeoff) there she was, in the tree - beeping away - over 1000m from where I took off!
Retrieved using a stick and thankfully with no damage bar a slightly twisted propeller.
Lesson learned, the Mavic Mini is great but perhaps can't deal with high winds or altitude. Perhaps I should have been smarter to begin with but hey ho!
I am curious as to why
1 - Why did I lose connection at only 100ish metres away from my position, in clear line of sight and just after activating RTH?
2 - Why didn't RTH work correctly? I definitely had the homeport set but the drone's CPU chose to travel over 1000m away from me and then land.
If anyone can shed any light or have any advice to avoid this happening in future I'd be very grateful!

I see there is a firmware update out yesterday which amongst other things improves orientation. Had you calibrated the compass? If not the RTH will struggle as I believe it uses the GPS to ascertain the direction to go, but to find the direction it uses the compass, so if its out the drone will get lost.
