I've just ordered the 6 Pro Sapphire for £594, upgrading from a fitbit Ionic, I hope it's worth it...
I moved from a Fitbit (Blaze) to a Forerunner 45. The fitbits are basically entertaining toys, not serious training tools. If you're serious about your training, it is definitely worth it.

Finally managed to go in store, and check out the fenix 5, and 6 ranges - plus the Instinct.

Luckily, found out pretty much the only thing excluded from C2W is a GPS tracker. Anything non GPS is fine. With is barred. Which seems odd (but then, it is HMRC level logic...).

So, Instinct on order in Flame Red. Should be in next weekend...

Any recommendations for a HRM belt (for the couple of activities I do where I can't wear a watch - kung fu, or the accuracy seems poor on wrist - rowing ergo)?

I'm skinnier than a racing snake on a diet, if that makes a difference...

Anyone else suffering with Stress readings not reading? Mine is specifically after a run, for the next few hours it just doesn't read stress. Happened for the first time last night, and then again this morning. On both occasions, a restart seems to have resolved the issue.

First class watches. Made a cheeky offer of £460 which was countered with £519. Annoyingly though I now have to wait for stock to arrive.
Thanks for the heads up. I am looking at either the 6X Sapphire, or Instinct, so will try your figures and see how i get on!

Only annoying if the very minor changes are massively important to you?

I prefer the case and that is black there are literally no changes to the way it works, they’ve just renamed two features

Can you return your current one? Should be possible if it's within a month of your purchase.

Fair enough Pesty.

I'm still waiting for my flame red Instinct.

Then last night, Facebook ads showed me the Marq series - at 0%...

So tempted to cancel the instinct order, and put the dosh in as deposit on an Adventurer or Captain...

Quit smoking and work lunches - so putting £20 a month into a 'reward' seems appealing (says someone who simply hates buying things on tick).

No that wouldn’t be fair. I still like it and I’ve been wearing it everyday, whoever above said that I’d get used to the size was right.

In fact not just like it , love it. I still have that heart rate issue that I didn’t have in the 5x. That’s my one downside.

Sway do it. Still only money

Fair on whom? I picked up fenix 6x pro sapphire - hard to return despite it being a huge chunk of change. Really nicely built watch and more feature than I can be bothered to figure out.

Fair on the seller. Just sending it back because I prefer the looks of a new one. I’ve worn it everyday. Still happy with the purchase.

Bizarre. I doubt the shop has any sort of emotion about a return, it's a common part of business and something they're used to. I always wear my smart watch everyday but I do notice I sometimes need to tighten it a notch for running to ensure it doesn't move around much.

Does anyone have issues with inaccurate data on aftermarket watch faces, namely wrong sunrise/sunset times and weather? I’ve been using the SC8 face for about a month but for some reason the weather has never been right so I didn’t select it on my display. However, the sunrise and sunset times are about 2 hours out, yet the data is correct if I select an official Garmin watch face. I contacted Garmin but they couldn’t help as it’s an unofficial watch face but it is the same on all 3 unofficial faces I’ve installed (SC8, Rails and Data Lover).

Sunrise and sunset seems correct. But whatever face I have the weather isn’t right. On the developers pages there is something about it but I only scan read and didn’t understand smile

You're not helping!

Especially as it's almost impossible to choose which Marq to go for... I can discount a couple, but that leaves at least 3 I really like - even though I know I'll never use the features...

So it’s not worth the extra outlay IMO for most users

That's your opinion..I like the fact it'll get an extra day of charge per week, based on a few hours in the sun each day.

Correct it was my opinion based on how much charge I read that it provided - at a day extra that does seem quite nice...makes me tempted to upgrade this one.
