A fantastic way for the company to increase revenue for not a lot extra.

I’ll most likely upgrade to the standard 12, my iPhone 8 is starting to play up.

I’m pleased the “normal” iPhone 12 is going to be sensibly sized. Something like 5.8 inches I think?

I hate Apple and iPhones, but a tiny bit swayed by the 12.

Yeah i don't like the old design, I have just purchased the new SE as was waiting for their new phone to have 5g capabilities which it looks like this will .

Still don't think will be worth the upgrade yet though..

OK, I hate that when I was looking at the 7 I needed about 64gb and they only offered 32 or 128 forcing you to pay more.

I hate the way you can't position stuff where you want on the home screen.

The widgets were crap, but looks like that might be better with iOS14.

I hate no 'always on display.'

I hate the way Apple treat you like a child.

I hate that they hold back features and hardware Androids had for ages - wireless charging, fast charging, OLED screens, and the most recent one - higher refresh rates.

Though kind of like the look of the 12.

I rather like the look of this new 12, the design looks great and the smallest one is a nice size looking at a comparison of it against other iterations of iPhone. I’ve still got an iPhone 6 64GB which I’ve had since release and haven’t upgraded from as I felt the 6S, 7 and 8 didn’t really offer anything over the 6 other than being a bit quicker and having a better camera and the X onwards have been a bit too big combined with the notch which I think looks absolutely awful. Despite the 12 having the notch which pretty much everything on the market manages to avoid having, I think I will have a 12 as my current phone is about as fast as a motorhome driving up an alp and it’s a sensible size.

Yes Apple can be a PIA but then most big companies are. I hate the thought of having to stand in a queue outside one their stores to spend my hard earned. I do want a new phone thought and my other products are Apple which integrate very well together.

I've been interested in iPhone 12 for a while, always been an Android user but recently and for various reasons quite fancy going all in to the Apple ecosystem (have used Macs for 14 years).

As a result I've been following leaks for a fair while, as I'm sure many here have.

It seems like in the last couple of months the 'leaked' design has changed 20 times which, given it's supposed to be released very soon, seems to suggest no one actually knows what to expect, as the design will have been decided months ago.

If the leaks about the 120hz display not being ready in time are true then that'll be a shame. Some phones use 90hz though so not to suck too much battery, don't know if that would be an option.

It is so cringeworthy seeing people getting applauded when entering the shop and when leaving. I do like the look of the 12 is the leaks are accurate and might be swayed to move to an iPhone to go alongside my iPad Pro. iOS 14 is nice and I think I could get used to iOS after a few weeks. I would definitely move over if they got rid of lightning and moved to USB C like most of their other products.

Here’s an argument to skip the 12 and hold off until 2021 for the 13.

Yep. And people like me will buy them - it's one of my little luxuries in life to have the latest iPhone. But I agree that the features on an upgrade can be a bit thin.

I have an almost unused and boxed iPhone X sitting at home that I couldn't sell when I upgraded to the 11 - a bit annoying. Maybe it will become a collectors item? smile

You could re-hash that article to refer to any phone. It's just clickbait ste. Every time any new tech is released, youtube is full of the x reasons to buy/not to buy xyz.

Liking the look of the 12, I think I'll go for one of these.
