Nipped out in my lunch to get my phone upgrade via my existing upgrade program. Had an appointment, was done in 15 minutes. Either no one is buying the new phone or apple are doing a bang up job of controlling crowds, because there the apple store even at lunch time was pretty empty, or at least all staf were with a customer directly.
The 12 Pro is nice too...I mean, it’s just an iPhone!

king shambles... I went into Vodafone in Manchester earlier, I could of taken home with me an iPhone 12 Pro in Blue 512GB.... if I hadn’t already upgraded.So Vodafone do have the stock, not sure what the f

I just spoke to Sky about mine and they said that if you are told it is a delay of a day or so then it is because the courier doesn't have the capacity to deliver them all on the same day. Basically Sky act like a front end for Apple rather than having their own stock and the phones go straight from Apple to the courier.

That hasn't been possible since the iphone 8 - the change to the screen layout stops it - so you swipe down from top right - or you can set up a widget to show you...
picked up my 12pro at the apple shop today. zero queues at 4pm in and out in 15mins. was kind of hoping to see the 12 mini in the flesh, but none on show.
everything as expected. just having a bit of a play round, but want to get out and about and try the new camera and see how much of an upgrade it really is.
my only complaint is (and prob should have noticed/ read this in the reviews) that they only provide a ‘usb-c’ cable with the new phone, but i don’t have a usb-c power plug!! turns out apple only ever supplied usb-c plugs with the iphone 11’s, so looks like the new cable can just stay in the box and i’ll just use my old cables
