The green buy button can come and go for quite a while after the initial notification. It's also worth checking until the next morning as some orders will be cancelled and the stock released back for sale. Refresh the page often and hope you get lucky!

Christ. I need to get my 3080 as soon as possible and get my 2060 super on eBay!

Reviews are in 3080 Ti is a rip off.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vtkk-_0jrPU

Basically the Ti is 71% more expensive than the 3080 (at MRSP prices) with less than 10% the performance boost.
It's a ripoff compared to the 3080 'official' price - which is nearly impossible to get at that official price.

In terms of real world prices that people will pay to get cards, 3080s go for anything up to £1800 on eBay at the moment and even if you can source an AIB 3080 model from a reputable retailer (they sell out immediately) you are looking at around £800 or more usually so the official £1049 price for the 3080Ti is certainly within what people will pay.

Of course, that is moot and the 3080Ti will likely go for around £2k when it hits eBay. NVidia are just cashing in on the fact that their cards are selling for way more than they officially priced the first wave at and now they are getting their cut.

OcUK run a voucher system though, where they make the codes available via the forum and so you can get them at a sensible price.

However, if someone is silly enough to pay £5K for them, then they are laughing.

Phew, well that makes a bit more sense. I'm sure I've seen cards on there previously at more sensible money, like around £1200 or so but, it may have been another site

Was offered ASUS TUF or ROG STRIX 3080ti as an upgrade (to my current 3070) for circa £1500 on Wednesday, but really didn't need it, and couldn't be bothered buying it just to sell on.

At the time of posting, CCLOnline have a Palit 3080Ti and a GeForce 3070 (same model I bought from them) available for next day delivery

3080Ti now gone, but CCL do have 3090, 3070 and 3060 cards in stock (though none anywhere near their RRP)

CCL having it listed on their website is long way from being able to get one!

I got my 3070 from them. When the button is green and it says next day delivery that’s a pretty safe bet. It doesn’t stay like that for long which is why I posted when I saw it. I would have gone for the 3080Ti if it was from a top tier vendor, not Palit

Both my sons have founders edition 3070s, I have a Palit gaming pro. Mine seems to clock higher and runs cooler and quieter than theirs although it was a little more expensive at £510ish

I wouldn't rule out Palit as being substandard.

Palit is also Gainward, Galax and KFA2 cards along with others not sold here. Al the same company.

Galax sponsors the 3dMark, TimeSpy / Port Royal benchmarking software.

Palit cards are decent, their customer service is sadly not. I've long avoided companies with an offshore RMA process in favour of like likes of MSI and EVGA who have UK RMA centres after months of issues trying to get a replacement Gainward card and being passed pillar to post.
